Hotel Maverick, Grand Junction

Devil's Kitchen, the rooftop restaurant on the 4th floor, serves locally-inspired cuisine with panoramic views of Grand Junction. The menu is designed with input from Colorado Mesa University's culinary program students, who also work as line cooks. Betty's Gourmet Coffee in the lobby offers local treats, avocado toast, and cold brew for quick breakfasts and snacks.

Guest rooms include air-conditioning, private bathrooms with walk-in showers, and garden or campus views. Select rooms offer king bunk beds-a rare configuration that appeals to families and groups. A welcome treat of lavender fudge from the culinary team greets each guest upon arrival.

Hotel Maverick provides a dedicated dog bed, bowls, treats, and a Maverick bandana for each canine guest. The property offers outdoor green spaces for pets and a ground-floor patio accessible from the lobby. A pet fee is charged per stay, and policies are enforced to maintain a safe environment for all guests.

The hotel sits directly on the Colorado Mesa University campus, a 6-minute walk from the Moss Performing Arts Center. Guests can use the university's recreation facilities, including a pool, gym, and sports fields. Hiking and biking trails on the Grand Mesa are within a short drive, and downtown Grand Junction shops and galleries are minutes away.

A spa-like hot tub is available for relaxation, and the fitness center includes basic equipment for workouts. Tesla and universal electric vehicle charging stations are located on-site for guest use. The hotel provides flexible conference spaces with modern AV equipment, catering to business travelers and university events.
